Title: Music Energy and the Enneagram
Presenter: Martin Salzwedel
Date: Wed 11th Oct, 2023 19:30 - 21:00 BST
October's webinar continues on from last month's webinar on the fascinating topic of the energetic drivers of the Enneatypes and their resonances. Understanding that it’s energy and resonance that drives our behaviours gives us an inroad into learning how to harness these energies so that they don’t become stumbling blocks or our weak spot when their sheer strength threatens to overwhelm us. And even more importantly, how understanding these energies and their interplay can show us ways to becoming a more integrated individual.
In this webinar, Martin will use his musical and coaching talents, and understanding of the Enneagram's energetic drivers to give you some food for thought by testing your energy's resonance through musical exercises. And the opportunity to share how you experience your own energetic drive.

Title: The Enneagram's Three Centres: History, Myth and Experience
Presented by: Uranio Paes
Enneagram Alive was delighted to welcome Uranio Paes, a world-renowned Enneagram teacher known for his innovation, powerful facilitation and thought-leadership. Uranio Paes illuminatd the distinctive ways in which body, heart, and head types work, given their dominant intelligences. He explained the theory around the centres that he and Beatrice Chestnut subscribe to and and some of the ways this may differ from the approach others take, both in theory and in practice. We heard about the Chestnut Paes Enneagram Academy approach and the reasons for it, as well as having a taster of what it's like to work directly 'in the room' with Uranio.
Title: Love and Connection in the Three Centres
Presented by: Peter O'Hanrahan
What can the Enneagram teach us about love, connection and human relationships? Peter reflected that love is easy to say but hard to define. It means different things to different people. Perhaps the most common meaning is that love is a feeling in the heart. Yet there is much more to “love” than our feelings. At times the centres work together, but not always. Understanding the role of our three centers show us how we love and how we want to be loved. Knowing our Enneagram Type helps us work with our ego defenses, our projections and idealisations our emotional habits, and shows us how we can develop our capacity to love through the body, heart and mind.
This well- attended webinar saw 38 people, led by Peter, share their experience and reflect on and compare the various ways of receiving and giving love through the three centres, and how this is influenced by type structure and how they show up in their relationships and in love.
Title: Is Modern Science Catching Up with Ancient Wisdom?
Presented by: Dr Henrie Lidiard
Spiritual traditions, including the Enneagram, have long talked about human beings having ‘3 centres’ of intelligence. However, for some these descriptions can seem a bit vague, unsubstantiated or ‘new age’ in nature, as if the ‘centres’ might just be a metaphor, an ‘energy’ or an idea.
However, there is now compelling evidence for their physical location, structure and function coming from the rapidly evolving field of neuroscience. Diverse studies now show that we do indeed have ‘brains’ or ‘centres of embodied intelligence’ in our heart and our gut, as well as in our head
Title: Introduction to the The Somatic Enneagram
Presented by: Marion Gilbert
As we start to use the Enneagram to understand ourselves better, we come
to have more options for how we respond to life, rather than being
“on automatic” in our personality’s type patterns. Our past history has
hard-wired us to stick with what we know, our type patterns, because they keep us safe. But keeping safe can keep us small and unable to fully open to the wholeness of who we truly are.
Title: Are you my Type, Am I yours? The Enneagram in Relationships
Presented by: Rosemary Cowan
In honour of the age-old celebration of love on Valentine's Day, Enneagram Alive is thrilled to have Rosemary Cowan, renowned Enneagram Teacher and couples counsellor, present this webinar on the relevance of the Enneagram in growing and maintaining happy relationhips
Title: The Enneagram and Dreamwork
Presented by: Veronica Whitty
This webinar by Veronica Whitty provided us with a fascinating and unique opportunity to work on dreams. Dreams show us the consequences of what we are doing and inform us when the wishes of the ego are threatening our psychic or spiritual well-being. The more the ego censors the dream message, the more disturbing the dreams become. We use dreams as a mirror for issues. This workhop was an amazing journey into the world of dreams and a big thank you to those who were prepared and brave enough to bring their dream to the workshop.
Title: Getting Creative with the Flow of Life

A lovely, interative webinar tdemonstrating how moving proactively with the wings and arrows of the Enneagram becomes a language of change and continuous movement. A language that helps us engage more positively with spirit, our own essence and with the world around us.
Title: Typing, Mistyping, and a new Type Test
Presented by: Beatrice Chestnut
When we learn the Enneagram and all the many insights it gives us into our personalities, the first challenge is to find your correct type. In this webinar, Enneagram teacher and author, Beatrice Chestnut, discussed the sources of mistyping, what it takes to find your type in an accurate way, and the new type test she co-created with UK native Fergus Sullivan and her business and teaching partner, Uranio Paes.

Title: The Enneagram's Ancient Egyptian Origins
Presented by: Teresa Daniels
Uplifted by an Egyptian pilgrimage with Enneagram master Russ Hudson, Teresa shared photos, stories and learning on the roots of the contemporary Enneagram that lie deep in the Egyptian past. The talk followed the footsteps of Gurdjieff and the Desert Fathers and Mothers, through sacred sites and mystical temples in an ancient land, to find out what may be uncovered about the Enneagram symbol and its origins, so often described as lost in antiquity?
