Head, Heart & Gut:
Wisdom to carry Life Forward
Therese Ryan.JPG
with Therese Ryan
11:00 – 12:15

Our three centres of intelligence – head, heart & gut- are vital sources of wisdom. Living life predominantly from one centre channels our energy in repetitive, tired ways rather than allowing it to flow freely in a fresh response to the present moment. This workshop invites you to tune into each centre and explore your relationship to your unique head, heart and gut intelligence. What happens individually and collectively when one centre leads the way? How might accessing the energy of all three centres help us be more reflective, connected & grounded? You’ll have an opportunity to try out the gentle practice of Focusing (as developed by Eugene Gendlin) as you sense into the wisdom of each centre and how together they carry life forward.

Steady in the Storm: The Enneagram for Real-Time Change
Susan Coughlan 2025 1.jpeg
with Susan Coughlan
11:00 – 12:15

In a world marked by rapid change, complexity, and instability, we all experience moments when we feel ungrounded or reactive. This session explores how the Enneagram, combined with the simple and powerful Below or Above the Line framework (from Conscious Leadership Group), can help us meet uncertainty with more presence, curiosity, and choice. In this practical and interactive workshop, you will learn to apply the framework and to identify your type’s predictable stress patterns and “below-the-line” stories or strategies that arise in stress and uncertainty. We will tune in to the strengths and wisdom available to you when your type returns “above the line”. We will explore where you go – above or below in certain scenarios and practice making the shift from below to above the line in ways that work for you.

She lives and works in Stoneybatter, Dublin with her wife Margaret, an artist, and their cat Ziggy, who is blissfully oblivious to it all.

Exploring the Tapestry of the Enneagram in Ireland

An inclusive space to reflect on the history of the Enneagram in Ireland through to the present day. Through the voices of Fr. Myles O' Reilly SJ, Margaret O' Rorke, Barry Ahern and others in the room, we will explore the varied and diverse threads which have been woven together to form the tapestry of today's Enneagram.  We will conclude with an invitation to wonder about the Enneagram of the present times here in Ireland.

Phyllis qualified as a narrative Enneagram teacher in 2013 and has facilitated workshops, panels and typing interviews both online and in-person since that time. Stress from the Inside

Stress from the Inside
Martin Quigley.jpg
with Martin Quigley
14:15 – 15:30

We typically associate stress as coming from the outside, a pressure from something in the environment. However, when  we are unaware of how our type patterns operate, we become the architect of our own stress. In this session we will examine the thoughts, feelings and behaviours that can initiate stress.  When we understand our type patterns, it is easier to observe and recognise our automatic reaction. We can identify thoughts, feelings and behaviours that are stressors and energy sapping. By bringing awareness to these stressors, we can give ourselves options for managing our reactivity  and build resilience. This is an experiential session using the inner triangle whereby each type will explore their own projections, avoidances and defences to identify sources of self-generated stress. Learning to recognise our own stressors will begin the task of building resilience.

14:15 – 15:30

Instincts in Intimacy is an exploration of the influence of Enneagram instincts on our close relationships. Why might one person in a relationship require daily expressions of passion while another finds this excessive? Why might one person in a romantic partnership desire physical intimacy regardless of circumstances while for the other stressors must be low before desire is present? Enneagram instincts reveal the mysteries of intimate dynamics and provide a path towards understanding and compassion for ourselves and our loved ones.  Familiarity with Enneagram instincts is a plus, beginners welcomeInstincts in Intimacy is an exploration of the influence of Enneagram instincts on our close relationships.
